Now in its 6th Year, the IBSC remains the premier event for the brazing and soldering community. For years, the IBSC has provided professionals, scientists and engineers involved in the research, development and application of brazing and soldering, a unique networking and idea-exchange forum. This three-day conference provides cutting-edge education and technical programming for the brazing and soldering community, as well as peer-networking and a full exhibit program, showcasing the latest trends, products, processes and techniques available in the industry.

Transportation

The closest airport is Long Beach Airport (LGB), which is only 7 miles away from the host hotel. Alternate airports include Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is 20 miles from the hotel and John Wayne Airport (SNA) which is 28 miles.

Getting to the Hotel: If arriving at LGB, a 15-minute taxi ride is the best option. If arriving at either LAX or SNA, the Super Shuttle is the best option.

Language

All presentations at the conference will be presented in English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Proceedings

The Proceedings of IBSC 2015 will be made available to each full conference registrant at the event. To purchase a copy of the proceedings, if you are not a full registrant, indicate your choice on the registration form.

Photo Release

Photographs will be taken during the 2015 IBSC. Registration to this conference constitutes agreement to allow AWS use of your photo in any IBSC-related publications or websites.

CANCELLATIONS
AWS must be informed in writing regarding intent to cancel no less than 30 days from the first date of the event. The official cancellation date will be the date written notification is received by AWS. Should an exhibitor cancel, all payments received by the official cancellation date will NOT BE REFUNDABLE.

OTHER REGULATIONS
No display items will be allowed anywhere off the table area except that backdrop displays are allowed and table logo draping will be allowed over the front of the table. Any additional services such as electrical service will be at the expense of the exhibitor to be arranged directly with Katrina Lopez (katrina.lopez@hiltonlb.com). Each exhibit representative agrees to abide by these regulations. On-site AWS staff shall have the right to enforce these regulations and may shut down any exhibit that does not comply without refund.

The deadline to submit abstracts has passed. An abstract acceptance/rejection email has been sent out on September 08, 2014. If you did not receive an email notification, please log in or contact ibsc@aws.org to check your abstract status.

A manuscript submission instruction is provided here. Manuscript will be reviewed. Acceptance notification and revision request will be sent to author by January 19, 2015. The final manuscript with requested revision must be submitted before February, 15, 2015.
