I'm looking for some front hub spacers off of a dodge dually. I plan to convert my 2500 into a 3500 and I need these bolt on adaptors to complete the conversion. Anybody got some lying around?

what year? just in case you were interested in knowing the 03 and newer dodge duallys use a different rearend than the single rear trucks but im sure you will get along fine just using spacers on the rear too. you probably already knew that but i thought you might like to know if you didnt

I bought mine from Michigan, called Arrowcraft, She really knows her stuff when you start talking trucks, trust me. I bought adapters for my 2002, front and rear and bought some Eagle alloy wheels for $1756. (4 aluminum, 2 steel) heres a pic....I hope,

Their number up there is 248-280-0210, pleasure to deal with. I think southwest wheel sells the Arrowcraft as well(supplier) but they sell Alcoa wheels. Up in Michigan, number above is the main place, Arrowcraft.

Oh, and you don't have to change your axle....on mine I did'nt. Can't explain it, but she gave me the run down on widths between duallies, SRWs and everything cause I wanted to make sure mine was right and looked good. Call them, they will tell ya everything you need to know.

yeah i didnt mean you had to change the axle. i was just saying that they are not exactly the same but you do have to have rear adaptors. a month or so ago someone wrote in to diesel power and asked what it would take to convert an 03 to a dually. they said all he needed was front adaptors. that was wrong you have to space out the rear too.

i have a set of semi wheels and adaptors if you want your dually the really look sweet

Thanks guys. All the input has been a great help. BTW, there is a quadcab SWB dually 4x4 on that link you posted. Its BADA** to put it mild.Just scroll the pics on top .

I remembered the difference. I think she said the axle on the SRW's are wider so you can fit a 4x8 sheet of plywood between the wheel wells and the duallies are narrower...I think that is the difference. I think mine from tire bulge to tire bulge is right around 97 inches and I measured a true Dodge dually and found it to be narrower. She did tell me to make sure I got an 8' flatbed though cause I guess they sell some that are more narrow and if I did'nt my wheels would have stuck out. They also sell fender flare kits so you can keep you SRW bed and convert it to a dually bed if your not in to flatbeds.

the dually axle is wider. its the same width as the front axle with the adapters on. you front wheel and inner dual should run the same track.  i built a quad cab swd a few months back. i had a hell of a time getting rid of it.

Thats what I'm building. I have an '06 quadcab SWB that I am converting. What did you get for it?
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 07-13-2008 01:38
i traded mine for a mega cab. mine started life as a quad cab long bed dually. i cut it in half and put a short bed frame under the back half. i had the parts laying around from a mega cab long bed conversion i did. if you ever want to put a regular bed on it i have 3 short bed dually beds sitting here right now.
Parent - - By pypLynr (***) Date 07-13-2008 18:57
Any of them white? Or at least some white megacab fenders?
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 07-13-2008 21:39
i have 2 white short dually beds
Parent - - By pypLynr (***) Date 07-14-2008 01:35
how much or are you willing to trade for my SWB SRW bed?
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 07-14-2008 01:46
i really dont have much use for any short beds. i would consider engine drives on trade. do you have any welders that would be worth a bed to you. im trying to start a sa-200 collection

Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 07-15-2008 22:18
Rockstars are junk! I've got 20x10 Rockstars on my truck and had one crack on me. I've been without my truck over a month now
Parent - - By rockin d (**) Date 07-15-2008 22:35
do you know how they cracked ? off road ? hwy ? freind of mine going on a yr. with his on a dually, & roads we drive on every day are somtimes pretty bad, he  never had a problem or( up to Now) has'nt had a problem
Parent - - By Marsh Welding (**) Date 07-15-2008 22:55
interstate. my truck has never been off-road. Almost left me stranded in the middle of Nebraska. I did't have a spare. I didn't figue I would need one yet. I had my stock spare, then i had to buy a used spare rim and tire. Cost me $300 to drive the rest of the way home. To make it worse I had my 2and 3 year old kids with me.

They are lifetime warranty but its been over a month and I still haven't seen my wheel. Hoping it comes soon. I want to sell my truck.

yeah there is nothing worse than no customer service. No one close to me sells alot of the stuff I buy so I go online. I get great deals but I would rather pay more and have some customer service to go along with it. But some local places suck on customer service too.

Nobody has some of these hub extensions ?  Someone must have some or knows somebody that does... possibly a good Dodge wrecking yard?
Parent - - By pypLynr (***) Date 07-17-2008 20:35 Edited 07-18-2008 01:02
Well boys and girls, I was sweatin' for nothing... the dealer sells these for $156 ea.   all day long! I'm going new!!! Thanks for the responses ,though.

A wrecking yard will have all you want. By the way a cab chassis dually is also narrower than a regular dually with a bed.
Parent - - By jcatterton Date 01-09-2009 03:06
Cuuminsguy, what size tires are on your truck? Whats the biggest tire you can run with the adapters? Thanks
Parent - By Cumminsguy71 (*****) Date 01-14-2009 04:27
I have 235/85/16's on the rear now. I have 265/75/16's on the front. I did have the 265's on the rear for about a week while I waited for my tires to come in. Air pressure set at 60psi and when I drove down the highway to nashville I kept smelling rubber. They did not touch sitting in the driveway, but bouncing down the road they let out some smoke.
