I have doubt to weld rail joints for WorkShop crane (welding puddle barrier), which will have too much loading.
Do you I need to qualify the welder WPS & PQR for this structural welding?
Your help would be appreciated

You need to bring in an engineer.

Agree with js. You need to get at least a structural engineer in on it, and probably I would hire a WE as a consultant.
