ASME sec III subsection NC class 2 vs subsection NB class 1.

I have a Purchase order for nuclear material; it requires that the material must comply with ASME /BPV Sec III subsection NB class 1.
The Material I need is SA 182 316/316L Thredolet.

The C of C from from the final supplier references Subsection NB class 1., but when I trace the paper work back to the mill I think I have a problem.

Below is in the order from the mill to final supplier.
1)I find on the CMTR ( from the mill) the spec SA 182 and SA 479 along with others.(I need SA 182 316/316L) so far so good.
2) The C of C from the mill References ASTM A479/A276  316 cond A
3) Then I have a material test report from another test facility Material Spec SA-479 sa-276 type 316/316L.
4) Then I have another test report from a 2nd facility for grain size. BUT the reference is ASME sec III subsection NC class 2 ASME479/ASME SA276 type 316/316L.
5) Then I have a UT report with the specs ASTM 479 316/316L
6) Then I have a another C of C for processing but now the Material spec is SA 182 316/316L
7) My supplier references Subsection NB class 1 ASME SA 182 in the final C of C.

My Question is…. are ASME sec III subsection NC class 2 ASME479/ASME SA276 type 316/316L  and ASME sec III Subsection NB class 1 ASME SA 182.somehow  interchangeable?
These documents will be reviewed again, but I would like some Advice on this subject.
Any info or experience would be helpful

MIke, I don't have a ready answer to your question but I do have some advice. If you are doing Section III work I can only assume you have an AIA. With this resource should be an army of 'consultants' to assist in requirement compliance. Run it up their flag pole.

That is exactly what will happen soon. I would like to at least investigate this my self before i call the experts.
The other MTRs were all clear, this one seems scattered, i had them  revise 1 document for a typo already.
I still have a few work hours  to think about it, and all of tonite.

I'm not sure what form your end product is.  SA-182 indicates a forging, which could be made from wrought SA-479/SA-276 bar.  Does the document in your Item 6 indicate that a forging operation and subsequent solution annealing was performed?  If so, I see no problem as long as all of the tests required by SA-182 and NB-2000 (see paragraphs on forgings) were performed and results were acceptable.

Well I guess that im hung up on the test report from the test facility that my suppier used.(I did audit the test facility and they are qualified/on my list too)
The test facility  referenced my Purchase order on the report given to my supplier who in turn furnished me with it, but they referenced ASME sec III subsection NC class 2 sa-479
My Po has ASME sec III Subsection NB class 1 sa-182
So my gut tells me , or leads me to feel that it has not been tested to my requirements.
I could be wrong and tomorrow is my deadline before I send it to my Consultant ( this is our mock up ).
I’m also not sure I see all the processing data From sa479 to sa182
Seems to me that it went from being cl2 479 at testing to being 182 on the last two  C of Cs.
Nothing says its been tested to what is on my po.
My plan is to list all these concerns and fax over the certs let him review, and comment on my concerns.
If any1 has experience with Nuc cert traceability and would like to see them and comment let me know.( it will take them a few days to reply always does)
Any info would be helpful.

Sometimes it's wise to listen to your gut. That switch would be an automatic hit for me.
