But I can't find test CODE.
I need test CODE about Tension and bend test of weld.

There are many different CODEs to choose from.
You must find out from the Engineer of the project that the tester will be working on which CODE was used for the design.

Hi,

In order to answer your question, you should make clear some points as below:

1- Description of weldment (pipe, which dia?, plate in which thickness?)
2- Which standart shall be used? ASME Sec IX, AWS D1.1 or API 1104 or else?
3- joint type (Fillet weld, butt weld etc..)

Let us know these points, then your question shall be referred to related standart (and section(

ASTM may have a "standard" for testing the mechanicals. I only have the non-destructive volume. As for "codes" to use to test in accordance with, I don't know without knowing more info as has been stated already.

If you are looking for a generic, non-industry specific weld qualification code, try AWS B2.1 "Specification for Welding Procedure and Performance Qualification"

Hi man soo

Some of the welding codes such as ASME IX have their own built-in testing procedures. Others reference ASTM or EN or ISO standards. If you are merely looking for any standard that can guide you, try looking at ASME IX to see if it is of any use.

If you are welding to a specific code, that code needs to reference you to the relevant testing standard.

Hope this helps.
