Joe, what do you consider to be a ridiculous price? If the Level IIIs you've contacted are both in the same ball park, they are giving you the going price for your area.
When you select a Level III, it is like hiring a lawyer. Do you really want the cheapest one in the state to represent you when you get into a fix?
You need to hire a Level III that is experienced and is available to answer inquiries when they come up. It's like a family doctor. You need him when you need him, but do you want to travel half way across the country if you need him in a hurry?
The Level III should be familiar with you and your company. It isn't like ordering a widget from the J.C. Penny catelog.
