Hello all,

I am currently a CWI/CWE with my company.  Right now I do general inspection, fabrication, and some code work.  I work with AWS D1.1, AWS D15.1 and ASME  codes including Section I, II, VIII, IX and B31.1.  I have also been teaching for almost 3 years now and will be teaching on a college level soon.  The reason I write is I want to put my CWI to use at school and also during my off time.  Frankly, since I've had my CWI my company doesn't seem to really care.  My boss wants to push me harder and have me do more, but the company sees no use in it because they already do have a Code Quality Manager.  It's politics. Anywys, I'm thinking about consulting or qualifying welders and welding procedures.  My goal is to learn more and be more.  I am new to this so any help is much appreciated.
