hi guys, and gals, mabe someone can help guide me in a direction, this spring i purchased a 35 ft striker yacht all aluminum sport fishing boat it was made in norway and the hull is a quarter inch thick, and super structure is 3 16 ths 5086 aluminum, the previous owner was afinatic and did not want to see the seams of the welded plate . the factory bondoed and painted the entire hull area, needless to say 30 years later time took its toll on the bondo and paint.i resorted to using a sandblaster with fine black beauty media wich removed the paint and bondo very well.however now i have a sandpaper finish on the aluminum about 80 grit i suppose, is there a way to remove the blasting finish, like sanding or grinding???? ive seen other aluminum boats with a circles kindof finshing mad with a grinder, is there a pad made for this type of finish, please help ive invested 45,000 dollars on the boat awant it to be purfect, thank you jeff fisher
