would someone please explain what these "Cool Blue lens" are , i've never seen one , and only heard of them here,,,i've heard good , bad , and bad for you,,,,,whats up...
Hello JA, I don't know the specifics of the history of these, yet I have used a few of them over the years during my career and have liked how the arc "looks". They do have a blueish tint as you are viewing the arc and I believe they also provide really good clarity of the puddle and surrounding area with very little associated glare. I don't believe I would pay the kind of money for one that is being discussed here on this thread, but that's just a personal opinion and like so many things the worth of anything is a subjective sort of thing and up to the individual. I don't believe there are any detrimental issues with these lens as they qualify according to the standards that have been set forth for welding filter plates, sorry can't name the specific governing regs. Just my $.02. Best regards, Allan
Does Anyone know where you can buy these lens online? Or are they discontinued, if all the above is there anything out there that comes close to the cool blue lens?
Sorry to said this but those lenses are DISCONTINUED thas way so many welder are looking for one because thos were GOOD at leas my opinion, butt I don't think I can pay that much.
