Well, I guess I don't have a clue what I'm missing... I just can't see why people have got to have a phone in their ear while driving, shopping, in the theaters, in restaurants, the malls, doctors offices and everywhere else you go nowadays... heck, I know I've / we've got to be missing something????

[sacastic voice]So what in the world do you do with your time while driving down the highway?[sarcastic voice off]

John,

With one hand on the laptop computer, one hand at the on board navigation/internet console installed in the dash board, cell phone attached to my head with a microphone earpiece, having a teleconference with half a dozen other drivers on speaker phone, and my palm pilot wedged between my knees to keep track of all the latest scores, who has any time to drive?
Parent - - By jwright650 (*****) Date 10-20-2006 18:59
Scott,
I'm certainly glad you didn't say that you're putting on lip stick and make-up in the rear view mirror, drinking coffee, eating a donut, reading the newpaper, and combing your hair....LOL

My goodness John how did you know that was me on my way to work this morning :) The only thing missing was trying to get my contacts in as well lol
Parent - By jon20013 (*****) Date 10-24-2006 18:03
lol, spooky, isnt it! :-0
Parent - - By jwright650 (*****) Date 10-24-2006 19:43
You just never know who all is watching......LOL , and you couldn't see because you didn't have your contacts in yet.

I've passed people who were tackling a Big Mac with both hands and still refused to put down the cell phone, so it was crunched up between their shoulder and ear, while trying to maintain control of the vehicle by driving with their knees. Then briefly turn loose of the Big Mac with one hand and shift into the next gear.

Hey, I do a fair job steering with my knee's! lol!
Parent - - By yorkiepap (***) Date 10-21-2006 01:08
Amen guys,
Funny thing, well, maybe not so funny, I have personally observed 3 accidents this year on the way to work and they were all due to JW's description of "things needing done while driving". The bad one was right beside me when a woman drove under a flatbed car carrier and made a convertible out of her sedan while reading a store flyer.....DUUUUUHHHHH !!

HEY SD.......WHERE'S THE PICS??????????????

Denny

I gotta brag on myself. I am one of the few people that can actually talk and drive. BUT, went out and bought a new toy that allows me to talk via stereo. My business revolves around the cell phone. No phone, no job. The only thing that sucks is that people think I'm some psycho talking and carrying on in my truck w/myself when I'm driving down the road on speaker phone. I just smile and wave. Gives me plenty of elbow room on the road.
Denny, I emailed that one pic to you. Yeah, that ugly sumbitch is me!

John,

Lip stick and make up? What have you heard?
Parent - By jwright650 (*****) Date 10-23-2006 11:19
LOL...;-)

In this day and age, the appearance of being a psycho may not be a bad thing. Just depends on who's looking. As for cutting, a plasma arc works wonders.

I hate cell phones, too, but I drive old cars that are always breaking down so I gotta carry a cell with AAA's number preprogrammed.  Also, I make sure wifey has one for the same reason.
