Do you have anything that looks like a transformer that is related to the idle. I think it's a governor but it controls the idle speed when you start welding (raises the idle). I need to replace mine because it is not functioning correctly. It does not raise the idle. It is a 2x2 in. square piece with two wires that come out of it and they are connected to the carbuerator idle. If you have anything like this can you email me a picture and a price quote. My e-mail is twinkie.2006@yahoo.com.
I do not have the part you are looking for. You might want to post your question in the "equipment wanted" section if you haven't already done so. Good luck!
the part you are looking for is the ideler solenoid they run around 150 new which if ur gonna buy 1 new is the way to go you can get them from weldmart.com it is a 2x2 square with a round blue piece inside of the square which the 2 wires you are refering to are connected you machione is equiped with a printed circut board only machines with pc boards in them have them
I just bought a solonoid from weldmart it was around $85 and an idle controle bord for $65. Don't quote me on the prices the reciepts are in the shop that is what comes to mind. I do know that it was cheaper than I thought it would be.
yes tom it will but you hsave to wire the board to the machine make sure it comes with directions i have never done 1 and my mech wants 700 with parts to do it

That is a joke ($700) you can put that stuff on in 30 min. I put one on this morning in a jiffy. The directions from weldmart are good and come with a wiring diagram. YOU CAN DO IT !!!
are you talking about the $400.00 unit or can you buy the seperate silinoid and board and get those two to work? I guess I'm talking about the older style boards and silinoids not the new style. I'm trying to work around the new style if you no what I'm talking about. Thanks Root Pass
I know larry has the upgrade, but can I use the replacement board and silinoid to switch out my bellow system. Or am I going to have to buy the upgrade?

I have a couple extra mags in "rebuild" shape, but would recommend a distributor if its a 163 head. I've done several and they all worked great. Have one on my pet machine. www.weldmart.com Just my 2 cents. Troy
