Requalify WPS

Hello gang,

I got a WPS and PQR for mig semiauto and I want to use it with a Gullco mig "bug".
If I am within the parameters can I use this semiauto WPS/PQR and revise them to include mechanized?

i believe that a welder and a welding operator are considered the same to D1.1 (i'm assuming this is to aws d1.1). the only variable i see that could come into play is a + or - 25% change in travel speed

Hi Hogan,

I myself don't see an issue with this if the welder has a WPQ in his wallet for semiauto or mechanized.

keep all nonessentials and essentials the same as the orignial WPS for semiauto and do a revision on there to include mechanized.
