Hi,

We are in the process for our Nadcap preparation, and need to get my automatic welder calibrated.
The old company who used to service and calibrate our machines is not Nadcap or ISO certified, so he is out of the picture.

I can't find anybody in Southern CA for welding machine calibration who is Nadcap or ISO certified.
I hope someone can put me in the right track.

Thanks

Is it necessary they be Nadcap or ISO certified? Wouldn't a program compliant with NIST or ANSI suffice?

That is my irony.
We are AS9100 Certified, oue Aerospace customers require us to use only ISO or AS cerified calibration labs.
There isn't a catagory in Nadcap for calibration certification, but I can strech the rules a little, and approve a Nadcap welding certification instead of ISO or AS.

From what I see, Nadcap leaves it up to your QMS to determine who can calibrate your machines.
