hello i have a technical problem.
we are doing transformer installation, and just discovered that the connection rod from the windings to bushings is about 4-6cm short in all HV bushings side.
the connection material is made of copper rod brazed to the copper cables from the windings.

i am of the opinion that either the coer cable or connection rod itself be joined to get the desired lenght.

however my constraint is what is the best way to do. reasons being that the whle cable lenght cant bee rooted out fom the transformer windings.

i will appreciate any prompt rsponse.

my email is

If the question is can you braze copper? The answer is yes, very easily.  Contact your local welding supply house for a small spool of silver solder.  Be sure to clean all of the flux off of the joint prior to usage.
