Welding helmets

I have a decent auto shade now and was thinking of ordering the new Speedglas 9000xsw. Is this thing really worth the money? It would be nice to have a good one since I was only given 2 eyes that last thing I want to do is get burned with a cheap helmet. This baby looks nice but not having any experience with them I don't know.
Safty is real important with me so the cost shouldn't interfere with it.

I have a speedglas 9000X and I am very pleased with it's performance. They are a little pricey but definitely worth it if you weld a lot. It will increase your productivity and also save opening and closing lens all the time.

I used an auto hood for years until I found the chin-operated Accu-Strike hood from Cherokee Industries (800-658-4443). It has lots of adjustments and will fit anyone. For the TIG welding that I do, it has a much clearer view. I would never go back.
