Alright......some braggin:

My wife had this coat hanger that broke at the 1" coupling near the middle of the rack. My mig was out of wire, so......I welded it up with 1/8" 5p+.

Set the machine on 80 and gave it hell. No burn through, and it even looks pretty......just tootin my horn that's all.

20 Gauge ! Thats pretty impressive. Even schd 20 would be something. I would have had the WHOLE closet on fire! :)

well....i was welding the pipe to a much thicker coupler....so I guess I cheated.

I fabricate some pens out of 3/4" emt conduit with a 80 amp DC inverter welder and it is a chore if I ever get a big hole started.
