hey guys!just want to ask if you passed the AWS-CWI exam,you become automatically a member of AWS?so you will recieved welding journal etc.?

I believe they charge more for nonmembers, that will cover one year of membership if you are not lready a member. Check with Miami for the "real" info.

thanks,but im just wondering  why i recieved a welding journal, i'm not a member of aws yet but i took the exam last month (june 11).does it mean i pass the aws-cwi exam?im still waiting for the result of my exam.

The exam includes a membership and Journal subscription.

P.S. If you start getting Inspection Trends magazine -- that's a really good sign. Only certified members get that.

No, it does not mean that you passed. It only means that AWS got your money for the test- they also charged you for a forced membership.
