How many of you are running older rigs? I'm working on a 69' c-30 Chevy at the time. Just need a clutch pack and I'll be ready to sink the engine in.

It's name is "Stella"

Due to extreme circumstances I am running a 77 GMC with a 383 stroker, 205 gear driven married to a built 400 turbo, w/dana60's front and rear. Oh, and a factory lift, (8400gvw stock).

Oops, Im braggin' again........

I have a 76' F-250 that is getting a 7.3 diesel, a rear end out of a super duty with disc brakes, and a custom welding body to mount the SA-200. It will be my "retro rig".

Keep an eye on the crosmember and the frame rails where it ataches. The crosmenber and frame would have been thicker if it had a 7.3 from the factory, .240" thick.

84 F-250 extended cab 4x4 with rear duals off 79 dually.  7L Navistar (long before the Power Stroke).  4 speed manual with electric splitter from 86 F-600 dump truck.  The tranny is what really takes the cake.  The splitter is not like a semi where you run the grears and split then run them again..... you run the gear, pull out, split, then run the gear again, pull out un-split, and repeat 4 times.  It pulls like a mule, but tops out at 65mph running 3400r's

Figured it out. You have to remove the entire column, (through the firewall), not just the inner column.. .. Got er made.........
