The distributor says 11-14 grand for the Big 40 depending on year, model & options

Well......the big 40 is a 93, and the 251 is a 97, but the guy is a shyster - see where Im going?

For that rocket deal you can buy a lot of parts & pieces and still be dollars ahead.

SD, I'd  have to say you  are getting a real good deal for the money as long as they arn't hot. I run a Big40 deluxe bought last year bottom line on the machine after taxes not including spool guns, suit case etc.  Was $13900.00 with cat deisel. Check the arc stability as there are some that don't follow duty cycles while gaugeing. This is the second big40 I've owned and always been happy with there performance.
