I have an large old acetylene tank with an Airco 82Y valve. The valve is male with right-hand threads, outside of threads measures approx, 13/16". What is it's CGA designation? Can it be adapted to fit modern regulator?
Thanks

Sounds like it MAY be a CGA-300 valve. You should be able to get adapters to CGA-200, CGA-510 & CGA-520 rergulators.
