Does anyone know any suppliers of water soluble gap-o-lets for socket welds?

I never heard of such a thing.  It sounds like you have an idea for a good invention!

They have a water soluble paper typically used for purge gas dams.

The metallic "gap-o-lets (tradename)" are permanent.

Thanks Marty. That's exactly what I was looking for. I wish I did invent them but they already exist and are great for socket welds and inexpensive too.
