Could you please clarify about essential variable for CVN testing as per AWS D1.1?

In case of CVN is required by contract. For example as below.

The existent WPS of T,Y,K joint qualified with 6GR which CVN has also been tested, job size test pipe 8"X19 mm thickness of the thinner pipe. That means the diameter qualified is 8" & over and thickness qualified is 16 mm up to 38 mm as per table 4.2 and 4.6.

As per 4.35.3 only CVN is required to prepare on additional test weldment which be welded using that WPS.

1) Can the plate 10 mm thickness used for additional test weldment in 3G position (for CVN test only) and get the qualified range of pipe diameter 8" & above with thickness 10 mm up to 38 mm in T,Y,K joint?

2) Can the job pipe test size  8"X 10 mm thickness of the thinner pipe used for additional test weldment in 6GR (or 6G) position (for CVN test only) and get the qualified range of pipe diameter 8" & above with thickness 10 mm up to 38 mm in T,Y,K joint?

3) Whether it is conflict in wording or not. In commentary C-4.7 it say "...The requirements of Table 4.6 do not change any of the requirements in table 4.5.."
But actually the base metal in item 29) of table 4.5 is changed by item 1) of table 4.6
And the thickness in item 28) of table 4.5 is changed by item 2) of table 4.6

Best regards,
