Sorry guys for all the questions..

I am just trying to pick the right elective to take in school.

If I just went with TIG/Advanced TIG only? Would I still be able to find decent paying
jobs out there?

Please don't limit yourself; learn as many processes' as you can!

Definitlely try to learn every process you can.  There are decent paying jobs out there for every scope of welding, but who will get the better pay at the same shop, the person who can tig excellent or the person who can tig excellent and is fluent with other weld processes.  A good combo welder will always be able to find work, in my area there seems to be more welding positions available every day.
