just wingin it,i havent got my confirmation yet,just sent everything last week!paying for it out of my own pocket,and with my recent operation on hand(carpel tunnel),out of work for a month,i figure i better save some money!

I'm shooting for October 20th in St. Louis, or Minneapolis on the 6th. Exam only. I have a disc that has 10 modules on it, been studying and doing the tests. Last Sunday I did all the tests at once and scored 89%. Well, I did 9, I skipped the metric stuff.
I haven't found any way to get familiar with the pracical part, though.Kinda worried about that part.
I've been welding 30 years, nice round number to quit on.

Hi ZCat!!

You caught my curiosity regarding the disc you mentioned with the 10 modules on it...
Could you share some info with me on it like who put's it out and where I can order it ? TIA!!! ;)

It's not a commercial disc. One of the QC guys on this job put it together for training his guys, I just got lucky and stumbled into getting a copy.

could u send me a copy of that disc. Took the exam on july 29, 2007. The hardest part to me was the practical, made 50%, I didnt take a seminar, but will take seminar before i retest. Thanks Huey The practical parts consists of measuring plastic replicas. Be very familiar with tensile strength and discontinuity.
