I use  NR 232 in the field.  Totally seismic E71T-8   Is E71T-1 rated as a seismic wire ?  Is that an AWS rating ?  E71T-1 is lincoln's "outershield) Requires a 75/25 cover gas.  Spray transfer mode .  Is diameter a factor ? .045 or .068 .072 etc ?  john los angeles

Lincoln has tested the wires at this link to seismic requiremnts.  Other manufacturers have also done the same thing for thier wire.  The diameters and sheilding gasses used are shown on the certs.
