I need a nose piece for my starter. My old one is worn out but the rest of the starter is in good condition. can anybody tell me where i can find a replacement. Or a good part that wiil enterchange?

Can You just replace the bushing in the one You have?

no i can't it has been drilled out by the previous owner to an unknown diameter for now. maybe i can just have my machinist buddy cut me one huh?

That could work if the hole is round, on location and not cockeyed, but if it was hand drilled the hole would need to be re-bored, and that probably would not be cost effective.

I would, then you can spend all the time you want fixing the old one and keep it in the truck for a back up.
