I recieved a pallet of donated Innershield NR-203MP  5/64"  E71T-8J

I have the Lincoln Innershield Catalog with the suggested operating ranges. But am wondering if anybody here has some experience with this one especially running Vert with upward progression.

Gun Angles

Wire Feed Speeds for specific thicknesses

Stickout for 5/64 ?????????

Voltage for specific WFS  (are the Lincoln suggestions as good as it gets?)

Tips on Fillets

Tips on Grooves with backing strips on plate in all positions

Fillets are mostly on 1/4 A36  and Grooves are on 3/8'  or 1" A36

I've got about no experience with large diameter self shielding FCAW electrodes.

Were not insterested in the fastest depositon rates yet... Just how to control the stuff.

We are running it outdoors with a CV suitcase on a Miller Trailblazer 302 CC/CV

We also have a pallet of NR 211 and NR 212 but will ask about those later... One at a time eh?

Extensive practice with project representative joints is worth thousands of words.  There are too many variations to generalize.  Weldor control of heat input for manual process for given conditions is matter of skill.  Buy practice metal if you have to.  Start with the Lincoln data (they work hard to make your result successful).
