Those knobs look like the plastic style Miller is using. I may have to investigate. The knobs I have always seen are the metal pointers. Very interesting.

I am getting ready to post pics of the pointers and the Miller knobs that look like what was posted above. I just have to get Dad off his computer to access my pic program.

I like the looks of them (knobs above)

I've got the big metal ones, but since I always have to cut the rheostat shaft to replace the faceplate I can't salvage the small knob. I just give it back to the customer and let him try and drill out the set screw.

Jared at Stumpfs has a huge graveyard of these machines. And the pics he sent me show evry machine having metal knobs, so I asked him what he'd take for a dozen sets, and he said they weren't available. I'm looking everywhere I can for them.

i just bought a 61 redface. very clean. radiator is in great shape. non running, but all there. 1500.....you want it too.
Parent - By KSellon (****) Date 12-12-2007 14:35
Let me see how this first one works out. If I don't get upside down on it, I'll buy the 61. Its just hard to pay 1500 for the base machine then rebuild the engine, mag and carb and install a Lincoln idler upgrade kit and make anything more than 300 profit when I sell. I don't feel right selling a machine I can't guarantee.
