just want to compare heard flint and capco just went up again. have buddy welding for contractor he furnishes everything, no split, paid contract labor (he pays taxes) but is told when, where, how and for how long. contractor provides uniforms FR clothing, time sheets, insurance (gen liab.), safety training, hotels, helper, specialty tools, work schedule,. Contractor does not provide ins (health). contractor will not split check or pay overtime and said it is completly legal to pay like this but does not sound right to me!
