I am a student at York Technical College in Rock Hill, Sc.  I am about to complete an associates degree in welding technology.  I very much am interested in finding employment in the pipe welding field.  I have completed many hours of practice in the 6G position using 6010, 7018, and TIG.  Can anyone give me some pointers about getting work after I finish school?  Thanks!

Try weldingjobs.com.  If you do an exhaustive internet search, you should be able to find something as a welding technician.  It might pay more than a welder job, but the welding experience would be extremely good to have.

Check out our misc. plant in Newport on the outskirts of Rock Hill.  We're located at 373 Hands Mill Road, near the Highway Patrol station.  The phone # is 980-2566.  Call or drop by and ask for Ken.
