I have just bought above second hand welder, with no instructions!  Any information on wiring remote plug for mig welding and voltage for wire feed unit.  The machine welds 'stick' very well but I have no information on how to set up MIG. - Any help would be appreciated.

That's one heck of a durable machine!  I am familiar with the 300ST, not the SM.  Try this site:  http://www.arc-products.com/powcon/index.html

You will have to go to Arc Products for any info or repair.

Hello stingmc24, I found the owners manual for your machine in my files. We used to have one in the shop here at our school. I hope these pages will be of assistance to you. Best regards, aevald

Hello filsmax1200, I'll see if I can do that for you. I am currently not in my office so I can't readily take care of that right now, but I'll look into it when I get back in. Off the top of my head though, sometimes the 575 volt machines are kind a breed of their own and cannot be changed over to the other voltages. Anyway, when I can, I'll check on that for you. Best regards, aevald
