To all you AWS sharpies, I have not purchased this SWPS yet, but in AWS' catalog this shows to use ER70S-3 (B2.1-1-233.2006; Carbon Steel, 1/8"-1-1/2", GMAW-S followed by GMAW Spray). I am wondering if any of you know if this SWPS will allow ER70S-6, and if welding thin material (~1/8"), will it allow only GMAW-S, without additional pass(es) over the short arc? Without looking at it, I do not want to purchase it, and not meet our needs as we only use S-6 wire, and may only need GMAW-S. Also, how close is developing WPS/PQR/WPQ in AWS to ASME...done many new ones in ASME, but none in AWS. Thanks, Steve
