I am in the process of rigging up. My Local is offering a downhill class for apprentices that are willing to get on the pipeline. One of my teachers is selling a 83' SA 200 for 2000.00. He just brought a brand new pipeliner 200d. I am wondering is this a go price for this machine. I have welded with it at school during our classes. It is just the welder and remote for the price. no lead. If i would buy this welder would 200 ft. of lead be enough? and what gauge should i get?

at  least 1/0 cable with a whip would be more than enough. I have a 1988 sa200 and I wouldn't take 3,000.00 for mine, if you are ever going to buy a machine buy this one   Jimmy
