longbeachsucks,
i went to san bernardino vally college. they have a class to prep you for the written part of the exam.the written test is
on the d1.1,the practical is 1 in. plate 3g, 4g. san berdo is no where near you so maby check with cerritos college they
have a good program. also look at the city of la dpt. of building and safty website it will give you all details about the license.

HI jbw1113 I work for a co. all over so. ca. as a single hand welder on the co's rig working in ref systems most of the time and I have my own rig, I work on the side as a rig welder. I'll work w/ plumbler co's doing gas pipe most of the time, I'm fully cert. butt no ins jet.

Ernie here, in Cherry Valley. Been a Tig welder/fabricator for 26 years. I am now taking the CWI course from an awesome instructor and will test this spring. Been out of work for 5 months now, trying to stay afloat!
