I have been welding since the age of 11. I have experience in a few fields including; structural, a.s.m.e. code pressure vessels, and dragline construction. However, I see many welders out there making a considerable bit more money than myself. They are chasing rigs and pipelines. I would like to make the leap into one of these fields. Any information which would be beneficial in this process would be greatly appreciated. Ex., Common tests for these positions, where to get started as far as finding the work, etc...
Not asking anyone to get me in the door, just point me where to knock. Thanks!!
