I`m weld inspection student in Venezuela and have to do my thesis degree.
I want to compare the resistence of fillet welded union when load acts parallel and when load acts perpendicular to the fillet.
I want to try this because codes indicate to design both situations for diferent allowable stress.
¿Want anybody help me this matter?
I would like to know, first, if are there investigations that I can to accede; wich one, in the AWS code, article talk abuot this.
