I have been giving weld test for a company for awhile now and I have been using there QC program which is asme section IX.My ? is were can I find what test I'm suppose to give.For example I give a 2" sch 80 tig on carbon steel pipe.Were can I find if this info is correct.Also were can I find out if I can give one test that qualifies more than one test.Example if I take a test on 2" stainless pipe does this certify me on carbon pipe.

ASME Sec IX has all of the information.

ASME Sec IX will let you know what diameter qualifies for what diameter. What filler metal qualifies for what filler metal etc..

I would ask the company if you could look at it sometime. It will tell you about your stainless question.
