I need a miller rfc-23a foot pedal or similar.  It is for a a.o. smith tig welder from the 50's or 60's.  Im borowing a old airco now and it works probably a linde pedal would work too.  The welder is made by P&H so if anyone can help email me at njf134@comcast.net

Check on eBay, they conme up frequently, I think K sellon from Bill's Welder repair probably has some too. Their phone # is all over this forum in any thread dealing with welder repair.

You will need to 2 plug cable on the foot pedal-- Larry at Applied Equipment has them.

Take it apart and look at it. All most are is a spring return go pedal with an off the shelf pot (not the smoking kind). If you have a friend that is handy with electrical stuff you can easily make one or modify one from another welder.

gshuma, these use a 150 watt 15 ohm rheostat, not a little pot like the newer ones.

Thanks Dave
Obviously I never had an older one apart. I hate it when someone tells me more that they know and I just did that.
