How do these people expect you to weld 400 degree preheat heavy wall in the summertime in a little bitty hooch covered in black plastic that soaks up the heat from the sun??

I used to be able to do it back around 1990, but not anymore.

I had to take the day off today to recuperate.

Don't think I'm long for this job...

too hot

Man I can't tell you how familiar that sounds. Thats when I learned to uphill rollouts at 9:00 with FCAW, stacking a little more metal so as not to lose too much productivity, just so that I could got off the top the pipe and away from the heat a little bit.

Moce to Texas and do it in 115 degree heat in a non airconditioned building with a metal roof.  Yay!

Buy yourself an airconditioned coat.  They do make them.

I think I'll just drag up.

They barely will put enough wool on there to cover the coils, then you're sitting next to 400+ degree bare pipe all day long, don't even try to lean on anything.

I'm too old for this crap.
