If it is possible to braze in vacuum furnace copper (with BCUP filler metal) because in all sources I found there are only information about torch brazing or brazing in furnace with hydrogen.

BCuP is a Copper - Phosphorous alloy.  Phosphorous outgasses in vacuum and plates on the oven walls.

You can do it but then you have to clean the oven.

A hydrogen atmosphere prevents outgassing.

Thank you for reply
What vacuum I should use when brazing copper, I was thinking of vacuum 1.3 10-6 mbar its max, I can have in furnace, I use. And what about oxides and weatably of base metal.

Not sure how good a joint you need.

A lot of copper gets 'sweat' (soldered) for plumbing and gets brazed for air conditioning and high pressure.   I have sweat a lot of copper pipe using steel wool to clean it.   Some like a green pad.  Clean to bright copper.   Make sure it is grease free.   I like a caustic.  Many like a solvent.

I have never vacuum brazed copper.    I have never seen the need to do so.   We think of vacuum brazing as expensive.  We use it when nothing else will work.   We start with a torch, induction or a belt furnace with flux depending on part size and batch size.

Were I you I would get a propane torch and some copper fittings with solder and flux and experiment a little.  Home Depot and similar have them.    Maybe $30 would get this done.  If you are at a university ask maintenance to show you how to do it.

We have little induction set up here where we show people how brazing works.   Nothing is as instructional as actually doing it yourself.

Theoretically, you shouldn't have oxides in a vacuum.   Practically that is what you will decide.

BCuP alloys are Phos -Copper or Silver, Phosphorous and Copper.  Try Prince & Izant, Handy and Harman or Lucas Milhaupt.   We don't braze copper.

Thanks for answer.

I want to braze in furnace because assembly i have is heat exchanger where a tube have 8mm diameter and they are 0,6 mm thick, a tube sheet is 15mm thick. It must have good pressure resistant.

Ok, but vacuum probably isn't the best idea.
A furnace purged with an inert gas (nitrogen comes to mind), would be ideal.

In furnace I use, there is also available to braze in gases I currently have nitrogen but max temp when brazing in gases is 750 C there is also possibility to braze in partial pressure of nitrogen. Due to border of 750 C I assume that convection brazing is impossible, but I wonder if brazing in partial pressure is better than the vacuum but what value of partial pressure, I should use when brazing cooper.

Material of a tube sheet is M1E
Material of a tube is Cu DHP

Also if you have any suggestion about filler metal, I will be grateful :)

Try Lucas Milhaupt as well as Prince & Izant and ask them about filler metal.

You need really specific information.

We have found Amy Zahnow to be very helpful.

I buy Cusilver
72Ag/28Cu
The test was ok i do it in vacuum 10-3 mbar with partial nitrogen.
