any help with root,hp,fill and the dreaded cap,to help me conserve gas!!!!

Well, you could thin your land, tighten your gap, and go for smooth starts, running all the way from tack to tack. This would tighten your bevel a bit, needing less grinding and filling so you could move on faster and turn your machine off sooner. Is this what you mean? Fuel for the machine?

stringers right but im not real sure what your talking bout by saving gas,,,that depends on the machine,,,ol 200,,,good luck,,,,or maybe a new diesel machine like a 300d or a no iron totin vantage,,,youll really watch your work fall to pieces.  what problems are you having,,and what rod are you using,,,sounds like 70+ or hype
