your engine protection switch box is staying engaged. The contact points are probably carboned up. Disassemble the box and clean the points with emery cloth, reassemble.

WHAT IS YOU CODE#? Wire 58 off the hour meter runs to the "NC" terminal of the engine protection relay, wire 60 runs to common ground. Check your ignition switch.

Lincoln part number S16897 (Murphy part number 761APH6012) when you took the cover off the box did the contact points (that you cleaned) or any of the internals look damaged?

NO IT ACTUALLY LOOK PRETTY NEW THE ONLY THING I NOTICE WAS ONE OF THE LITTLE TERMINALS THAT COME OUT OF THE BOX HAD A SCREW HOLDING IT IN PLACE INSTEAD OF A RIVET THAT HOW I KNEW SOMEBODY HAD ALREADY MESS WITH IT
