Who would have thought? 30 one on one bug fights. This sounded odd to me, but i couldn't stop watching.

I am ruined for the rest of the week. This has got to rank way up there as one of the best sites ever.

I was asked a question about this site, and here it is.

Is this not the same as dog fighting or cock fighting?

Now I am a long time member of PETA-People eating tasty animals.

But I also do not condone animal cruelty. So I have mixed feelings.

Is a bug any different than a dog or a rooster?

Does it not feel pain?

Food for thought? Maybe.

P.S. I still think the bug fights are cool.

i would be interested in knowing what the training regime is that the owners put them through. ha ha, picture it, a little mini weight gym and a little bity track and the theme song from Rocky playing and the trainer yelling " EYE OF THE DUNG BEETLE!!!!" over and over again all the while little ant slaves serving water.

I'm all about animals, but I'd say I don't mind putting the red wing emblem on the back of a insect.  I used to see how many toothpicks I could get stuck in a Jap beetle before they quit walking around.  If I recall, I think it was like 8 or 9.

Yeah, Those beetles can be tough! LOL :-)

I agree, I probably couldn't squash dogs or chickens, but I have no problem with bugs.

There was a video circulating on some of the trash web sites some time ago with a Japanese chick deliberately stomping a kitten to death. I have never saw it, but I would like to punch a few rounds of .45 ACP Cor-Bon out of my GVT Model into her kneecaps & see how much stompin' she did after that. I have nothing against any culture or race, but they are by far, the most brutal people on earth. And to think there was once real honor there with the Samurai & their culture. Go figure. :-( S.W.

Leave it to the Japanese! (no offense to them) ALL the hardest graphic porn, smut flicks, people getting chopped up for real, violent animation, etc. comes from THERE more than any place else in the world. I don't entertain myself with that kind of media, but it's a fact. Period. S.W.

Oh, I think the bug fights are pretty cool too......

Yes they are brutal.
