This is very important to me.I am a supervisor for one of the NuCor Steel Companies.one of my new welders has contact lenses and I have always been told in my 25 years in the industry, never weld with contacts,this may cause you seriouse injury or loss of sight.what are your opinions.professional or otherwise.ASAP please

I wear contact lens at work. The contacts have saved my eyes numerous times from thing getting in my eyes. the particles get stuck in the contacts. though you then need a new pair of contacts. Argon will dry them out from time to time, just a few drops and your all right.
