hello good sirs my name is Ronnie this is my first post. I have been trying to get into a school in Carolina The Construction Institute of America part of Carolina Energy Solutions wanted to know what the experts thought about this school and do you know of any other places like this one. I am looking for on the job training like this school offers as I am 36 and dont have alot of money to go to school. This seems like the place to get the best advice. Thank You All

Hi Ronnie.

I don't know much about on the job training. Can't help you there. But, if you should decide to look into schools elsewhere, The Lincoln Electric Welding School was a positive experience for me. I spent 15 weeks there, about $5,000 for the program. It covered everything from basic plate, to pipe. I rented a room out from a nice old lady at $100/week.

many J.C.s across the USA have good programs for one tenth that.
