Is it really necessary to have RT and/or UT for NDT  for acceptance Criteria for WPS Qualification?  If so, is there a RT or UT lab near Jackson, Ms?
Thanks in advance.

1st question - Yup, It may end up saving ya a buck in the end. ;-)  You must have documentation on your testing so do not cheat the RT.   2nd question - Do a google search for weld testing labs in that area.

When the Code says the word "shall" ... they kinda mean "thou shall"!

performing fabrication to a code or standard is a lot different than just fabricating something. it's a big step for a shop to start working to a code. i would suggest that you have a qualified cwi review your qc manual, just to cover you butt
