I have an ailing 40 ton hydraulic cylinder off my Scotchman ironworker that needs a rebuild. I'm in Lansing, Michigan & haven't done a whole lot of looking around on the net as of yet. Wondered if anyone had a lead on a shop, or a good experience with a reasonably priced place around my neck of the woods. Whatever anyone can offer would be kind & helpful. I'm going to do a little looking around locally, but there's not too much I know of & one place here I do is outrageous. Thanks! Steve.

Thanks Charlie. I went in there a few years ago when I first tore it apart & they gave me some ridiculous price around $300-400. It's a dinky cylinder & I thought that was way too much. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I talked to the wrong guy. I have not went checking big into it yet. I got a buddy from school that works there now. I'm going to go over there again & talk to him. Maybe he can get me a more realistic price. They sandblasted my trailer though & did a really good job for $150. I'm going to have them sandblast this ironworker too. Thanks!! S.W.
