I assume you are talking about the filler wires themselves. In this case, you should not need to do anything special because they are usually copper coated to prevent corrosion.

After cleaning the wire, we are recommended to vacuum seal the wire to prevent rust during storage.
If you have problem of rust during welding(1 day or more), I would like to recommend to heat the wire feeder(specially desinged feeder).
