I  assume the $ signs mean that they charge BIG BUCKS for their work...

Yah buddy .Freind of mine is buying one they have taken 6 weeks, & I think he said "$9000.00" But they will convert yours or take as trade don't know the difference $ wise

I think for that kind of $ , I can venture into chopping my own .Unless theirs comes with a warranty... and an operator... and maybe a blonde...

I met a welder who rebuilt his whole machine in S/S. Frame and all. It was cool looking... kinda looked like a small version severe duty 400. He said it cost him about that much.

I HEAR  Ya... I bought my 200D last year has the easy arc I pd $10,100.00 shipped from California to my front door in south tx. & i heard they went up in price. It 's not that hard to do just time consuming , the hardest thing to me is finding a smaller fan & cutting the radiator, but still just take it to a rad. shop everything else would be relocate. If you plan on just chopping & not mess w/ motor Im sure it's cheaper.

Yeah , just a chop. I have a Radiator shop right here in Burnet. He's good and reasonable. And yes they went up ... to 11,000 and some change.

Hey guys, I'm still looking for a machine to chop. I'm considering just a frame and sheetmetal to start with. Anybody got frames and sheetmetal? PLEASE give me a call if you have some stuff... Keith  #  830-385-2102

I think Rafterg(shad) had a clean frame or two, If not, I might, would have to check. Give him a call, just not when oprha is on. Sorry Shad, had to.

I dont have any parts to sell, I did see a short hood that had the battery removed, the radiator was slid down and the fan was attatched to the crankshaft. Made good thinking not cutting down your cooling capacity.Looked awsome but that was a long time ago .. I do have an old bone shorty sa200 that might get the same as soon as I start building something when I retire. I wouldnt mind remoting the fuel tank and going to a downdraft carb, would look good with the hood down 8-10 inches with an opener for servicing. Maybe a downpipe to plumb into the truck stack.  I hope I have the time!!
Best of luck
