You might check out Craig,CO. They are always doin' something around there. Or maybe Baggs,WY.I know theres work all over the whole state of WY.

Rifle is slow right now. There isn't anything going on in Craig right now, and in Wyoming you have to work around gov. stipulations regarding wildlife migrations.

I've worked that Atlantic rim, red lakes area, Wamsutter and beyond, and all the way down to Baggs and beyond. I lived in Craig until last year, and you don't even want to fool around out there. The cops are WAY too bored, and they don't like oilfield workers.

That's why I moved...............

Well, I don't know about the cops... I don't frequent the bars.

You don't have to frequent the bars.  Just drive through and they will be glad to give you a very thorough vehicle inspection.  From your bottle caps down to your tire tread.  Don't get me wrong they are just doing there job keeping the public safe and they are very good at it.  I just wish it would have happened near a hamburger stand so I could have got something to eat during the 45 minute ordeal.

Exactly!

All you have to do is get within 3 miles, (any direction) of the place, and you're screwed!

I didn't think about Toby. Yeah, he could use a couple good hands I spose.

Just be careful of the other guys doing the sub thing. It's cut throat like you wouldn't believe out here!

Hey Sourdough where did you move to?
Parent - By Sourdough (****) Date 07-18-2008 19:43
I moved to the dark side of the moon. There's plenty of shade there, and I don't ever use the airbags on my rig anymore.

I dont know adout currently, but S&B should need welders in Meeker.  I worked up there this time of year last year for Perfomance. They were subed under S&B and were supposed to go back but something or another happened.  If you are in the area and know where they are building the Meeker plants I would go and ask about welders.  If you need directions how to get on top of that mountain hoola back,
